Last year, the plan was to write 52 stories for our blog in 52 weeks. In the end, we did not get 52 stories, but we did 40, a great improvement over the pathetic 3 posts we did the year before. This is the benefit of setting ambitious goals. Even if you don’t reach it, you do much better than never having set the goal at all.

This year, the goal is the same: 52 stories in 52 weeks. Last year’s posts were usually work-focused. We talked about some of the jobs we did, our feelings, opinions etc. This year we’re taking a slightly different approach: we will be focusing on objects and places, related to Singapore and its history, of course. There will possibly be some work-related posts as well, of course.

A few years back, we started to amass a small collection of heritage objects. Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing that collection and exploring what each object reveals about our history. In addition, we often sketch or photograph some of the older places in Singapore. In our blog, we would also like to share some of these images and reflect on the significance of these places. So hopefully there’ll be lots of interesting stories in 2018.

Thanks for reading and supporting us. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2018!

Here we go again!
